North Carolina Court System 

The Web site of the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) was completely reorganized and redesigned using the portal concept.  Access is focused on the citizen, court and employee perspectives. 

 Key Features:

·         Content Management facilities allow authorized users to maintain and publish site text and directories online.

·         Navigation is facilitated by the use of a global menu that provides access to the home page, each portal and common features, such as Frequently Asked Questions Site Search and Contact Us. 

·         Locator Area on each sub-page displays the location of the page within the site and permits easy access to related pages.

·         Site Search returns occurrences of keywords in Frequently Asked Questions and Forms as well as in site text.

·         Forms Online provides a search by text or type along with the ability to fill in selected forms online.

·         Employee Directory is periodically uploaded from the AOC Human Resources Department.

·         Dockets and Petitions are periodically uploaded from the Supreme Court.

·         Frequently Asked Questions are tailored to the page as well as being accessible from the global option.

·         W3C/WAI/WACG compliance is affirmed.

·         Spanish translations are available for portions of the site.
