The North Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs (NCDVA) awards scholarships to children of qualifying veterans. Criteria for recipients include children of veterans who are deceased, disabled, Prisoners of War or Missing in Action. The Web application allows access to historical data, online applications, scholarship eligibility, and applicant status. In addition, the application produces correspondence, issues reports, and manages accounting procedures.

· Applicant related forms can be created, monitored, managed and searched online.

· Contacts can be entered and searched.

· Invoices are generated and tracked and interface into the North Carolina Accounting System (NCAS).

· Customized Letters can be generated from the application based on applicant status.

· Broadcast Messaging can be used between users.

· Administrative Functions can generate reports and manage meta data used through out the site.
