Gov. Michael F. Easley’s inauguration in January 2001 brought about the need to completely  redesign the Governor’s Web page.  It was crucial that the new design succeeded in creating an appropriate and effective image of the State’s new leader.  The new page was also tailored to the specifications of the new administration.

Key Features: ·         News is the primary theme of this site and includes rotating pictures of the Governor on the home page, press releases, proclamations and speeches as well as other photos and audio/video clips. ·         Governor’s Schedule is maintained by his staff rather than by IT professionals. ·         Press Releases are integrated with NC @ Your Service. ·         Kids’ Page presents North Carolina in terms a child can understand. ·         Highlights the Governor’s agenda and links to the NC Government Portal http://www.ncgov.com.
